School facilities

Fraser Park Preschool – 6 School is situated amongst natural surroundings, located next to Homburg Park.  Built in 1975, Fraser Park has served the community well by providing a safe, secure, supportive and caring learning environment.

The school comprises of:

Hall 

The school hall, with is recently refurbished parquet floor, provides a safe, sheltered space for students to play.  The hall has a wide range of sporting and leisure activities that classes use to teach valuable social skill and team building games.

 

 

Oval

Our spacious oval is equipped with football goals, cricket pitch and is conveniently located right next to the school buildings so students are supervised at all times. 

Outdoor Basketball Court

Between the oval and the large playground is our recently refurbished outdoor basketball court allowing students to practice their basketball skills.

Playgrounds

We have 2 playgrounds, both incorporating gross motor skills so students can climb, swing and slide during recess and lunch breaks.  Each playground is maintained, and the larger playground has recently been relayed.

Library

The school library offers a wide range of reading materials, suitable for readers of all ages.  Lessons are also held in the library incorporating research skills, History and Social Skills.

Interactive Smart Screens and ICT Technology

Every classroom is fitted out with Promethean Smart Boards where teachers and students can better engage with technology within the classroom.  Students also have access to laptops and iPads to extend their learning and to enhance their ICT skills.
